SAHARA’S SPECIAL SENSES – A BOOK REVIEW BY BLOGGER / EDUCATOR, SANGITHA KRISHNAMURTHI
17 March 2020
The illustrations! They made the words come alive for me and I swear I smelled the spices each time. As I write this review, the smells linger on. The choice of colour is the type where you nod when you see it, you know what’s right when you see it. What I like about Debasmita’s work is also the use of space – she doesn’t fill it all up. Sahara’s clothes are colourful, the space around ornate but not overwhelmingly so. Special senses are taken care of!Â
