an Art-for-Change Advocate

Creating art is my meditation.

I am an internationally-published picture book illustrator and graphic novelist. I have illustrated over 20 picture books, comics, and poems  in both fiction and non-fiction genre. “Mina Vs. The Monsoon”, which I illustrated for Yali Books in New York was nominated for the Best Picture Book of the Year by the prestigious Kirkus Reviews Prize in 2018. As an art-for-change advocate, I work with global non-profits sharing stories of change-makers from across the globe. My art has been exhibited in Italy, Singapore, Denmark, Thailand and featured by more than 40 international media outlets. I am the co-founder of Picture Book Matters, which empowers aspiring and emerging picture book artists and authors in Asia. My debut independent graphic novel, "NADYA", published by Scholastic is critically acclaimed in many countries. I am passionate about cinema and has been a screen writer and co-director of some award-winning short films and documentaries. Besides travelling near and far, I enjoy working from my cozy home studio in Singapore.

Try finding my books at your local book stores and libraries. Or else they're on Amazon.
